2010 single cab..modify bench seat lever?

    2010 Tacoma Regular Cab Slider
    Pioneer CD, Megaloud/JBL amps, Rockford/Polk speakers.
    With my sub enclosures in the back, I'm tight on space..the seat lever to swing the top of the bench seat forward is hitting the boxes.

    Wondering if anyone has modified the seat lever somehow to deal with this, please share..I love my Toyota other than this after 21 years of driving GM.

    What i did was cut the lever off use the existing hole on the bottom and put a wire loop so can easily lift and open it.
