after raising my 09 basemodel 5 lugger 2.75" and changing to 31" tires i noticed a portion of the alternator is exposed via the fenderwell over the tire. im afraid of getting the alt splashed with water and buying a 300 $ plus part. question ; is there anything sold to remedy this or has anyone engineered something to protect the alternator ? thanks for your help ahead of time.

This or just not worry about it. Mine in my other truck has been completely under water and mud multiple times and still works fine.
