aFe Power MagnumFORCE Stage-2 Si With Pro-GUARD 7 filter (yellow)

This is designed to fit 2005-2011 Tacomas. However, I did some slight modifications to the factory air pump brackets to relocate it and this was installed on my 2012. I am including the hardware to relocate the air pump, but no modifications are needed for 2005-2011. The box, instructions, factory metal filter cover, stickers, etc are included. $250 obo (+$30 shipping), this was $323 new.

    Here's some information:

Just around the corner from me too huh...

Is this the dry filter or the oiled one? How many miles are on it?

About 5,000 miles. This is the oiled high efficiency filter. It is supposed to provide the most filtering of the three that were available.

    From the aFe site:
"With seven layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze/synthetic media between 100% polyurethane top and base, this high flow “oiled” conical performance filter provide maximum protection with highest cumulative filtration efficiency for severe duty environments. Washable and reusable for multiple cleanings, the tall open evenly spaced pleats provide excellent dust holding capacity for longer service cycle between cleanings. Inverted top design offers additional dust holding capacity for longer service cycle. Pliable polyurethane flange with integrated bumps insures tight, no leak seal over the life of the filter."

The price is obo. If anyone is interested, make me an offer.

I added it to improve the mileage. After less than 5,000 miles, there was no documented improvement. I went back to the stock intake.

All these designs will be louder under the hood because the intake tube is no longer baffled going into the manifold.

Throttle response does FEEL better with mine (i have a volant), but I assume its the placebo affect from louder=faster

Then you'd probably love this, I love the sound mine makes, and I still haven't paired it with exhaust. The design between mine and his are almost identical, and again, I LOVE the way mine sounds. Get lots of compliments on it and it really cleans up the engine bay getting the stock air intake out of the way.

There is very little extra noise from under the hood. I was expecting more noise, but actually, I didn't notice any extra noise, maybe it's due to me keeping the engine cover installed. I'm not sure if other people notice with there aftermarket exhaust, but my exhaust is louder with the aFe. I have the 3" mandrel bent Banks cat-back exhaust.

There is a difference in throttle response and power seems to develope at a lower rpm range. I didn't notice so much when I installed the intake as I notice now that the stock box is back on.
