Intro: Just picked up a 2013

    Hey guys, I just picked up my double cab long bed 4x4 trd sport taco w/ jbl navi system. Special ordered it , took 8 weeks to arrive but was worth the wait.

    I've been lurking on the forums for a while , since I sold my 99 4runner last winter i've wanted a 2nd gen taco . And I've been back and fourth between buying a new or a used taco . Then I fell in love with the 2012-2013 front end and decided one new. Heres a pic.

    Mods on the way:
    I ordered some 5100s for the front (plan on setting them to 1.75) and 1" lift blocks for the rear to keep some rake.
    I'll also be making some minnor light upgrades , BHLM, and yellow fogs. Adding some interior LED's
    I think Im going to plasti dip the rims and emblems.
    Nothing crazy.
    Id also like to buy some step bars or bolt on sliders.

    Ive had alot of vehicles in my time , from LS1's, LT1s, hondas, nissan. But I love my toyota trucks.

    Heres a pic of my recent 4runner , and the pickup I had about 3 years ago. Gives you a idea of my style :cool:

    Congrats man. I just got my 2013 yesterday. I previously had a 2005 TRD Sport Access Cab, but needed a double cab. I too thought about getting a newer used one, but loved the new 2012-2013 front.

    Glad I decided to go with the new 2013.
