    I know. if it holds up it is a damn good deal. Lots of people on here say maaco does cheap work though, but I bought a clear coat so maybe it will help.

    Most of the paint shops like this do a good job painting as they paint so many cars. Where they suck is the quality of the paint and the prep work. Good quality paint cost more than most of these shops charge for the whole paint job. There idea of prep work is wiping down the car with lacquer thinner. If you were to prep the truck yourself and supplied the paint it would probably be a killer job.

    i took some auto body classes in college and its so damn easy and cheap to paint stuff yourself when you know what your doing, it would cost about 350 to repaint maby 400.. besides, white is the cheapest color. I spent 200 on painting my camper shell impulse red. shows the diffrence in cost

    The paint on these tacos seems to chip easier than other trucks I've had in the past, that's my only complaint in the 2 months since I bought it.
