Anybody running Goodyear Wranglers on their Taco? I manage a fleet of equipment for my county and all of our pickups (Fords and Chevys) run Wranglers year round. We get good performance on all road conditions and good mileage out of them. I am seriously considering a set for my 2012 DCSB come spring when I pull the snows off. Hopefully get something for the factory Dunlops which I ran last summer and am not impressed with at all. Especially on wet roads.

Any thoughts on the Goodyear Wranglers?

    Thanks.

I have a friend that runs them on his F150. He came from BFG all terrains and complains about them. His look same as above. Personally, I'd go with Duratrac's if you want goodyear. A lot of members run them with few complaints.

Technically the Duratrac's are wranglers tho.

I have the BFG AT KO

I love the look of Duratrac's, but I had bad experiences with Good Years not lasting for crap on my Camrys while in college. They always prorated the next set, so I got another type and went about my day basically free of charge. That has nothing to do with truck tires, but says alot of what I think of the brand as a whole...I run the BFG AT KO because I wanted to try another brand. Couldn't be happier.

I've had over 9 sets of BFA AT KO over the last 8 years and I love them wear like IRON.

Speaking from experience working in both a corporate tire shop and now a privately owned shop, Goodyear tires aren't that great. They wear fast and have a horrible reputation for taking any abuse. I've been running BFG KM2's for a year and a half now and they are just getting to half way worn. BFG makes a great truck tire, as long as you keep up with alignments and rotate them on a regular basis they will last a LONG time.

i have a friend with km2s on his chevy that have been on for years. great tire.

the at/ko dissapointed me off road and lived a short life on my old toyota. i never felt like i could go over all terrain with them. imo they have too round a contact patch at any respectable psi that causes them to wear funny. as if theyre over inflated. it is a tough tire, but not worth the dough to me

the goodyear eagle gtII's i used to run on my chevy never lasted

the goodyear wrangler authority cheapo's i currently run and ran on my last yota never cease to impress me. my understanding is that the duratracs are even better

i have faith in goodyear in their all terrain truck lineup, but would not stick the name on my car
