    good job !! & I like your diamond cuts too... but i'm a little confused, did you leave out the AAL ? (I only count 3 leafs total in pic) But your numbers are almost exactly what I have, & what I have is 3" lift over all, is this about what you figured ??

    Looks like you are almost level, maybe a slight rake in rear am I seeing this correctly ?

    Ok, if you find you don't like the ride, I'd dump the overload & the AAL (I'm very suspect of any 3 leaf AAL, especially if sold as a progressive)

    Just seems like a lot of shit on your axle for 3" gain, I just R&R'd my springs back to a linear leaf pack w/4 leafs total & have 3" lift... Keep me posted...

    I cringe everytime I see one of those series, bet it rides like shit, theres other members here that will argue all day with me about how good they are, before I'd take their word for it but after experiencing 2 J66's for myself they have no arguement as far as I'm concerned.... anyway, back on topic....

    It just so happens I have 2 pretty much virgin 2nd gen. mains with about 13K street miles on them, I can build you a complete set to you're specs. & install for less than you paid for the Deavers, & yeah I know how much they are, not cheap for sure....

    So would you use part of my Deaver pack or ditch em'? Second I would love to get anywhere in between 2.5 to 3" of lift but can my Icon 2.0 resis' handle that and would I get a little more bump travel? I know I'm asking a shit ton of questions but I'm excited about this! Oh yah you wanna PM me a price for what you mentioned?

    There is nothing on those packs I want or re use, only thing I'd take them for is scrap along with my cut-offs from other builds, ...

    But let me say this for the mass's that may read this.. I have nothing personal against Deaver or any other brand or retailer.. When someone comes by & wants me to take a ride to evaluate their susp. or trouble shoot I don't ask what they have on (unless completely stock) I don't want to know nor do I want them to tell me until I ask, that keeps me objective ...

    I would never have guessed the interest I stirred up 1250 threads ago when I posted a question in my own post "If anybody ever chose a local spring shop or other solution to curing the weakness of Tacoma springs besides the Deavers and Dakars".

    I still say you need a sticker to give with your springs.

    So it's looking like I'm not going to lift it right now due to funds but I am still interested in improving my ride quality because right now it is absolute shit. Is it possible to rebuild my leafs without gaining lift? If if took my second toyo leaf out and replaced it with an equal length chevy keeping the toyo main would that work?

    I would eventually add another chevy and put the toyo second back in to get the 2.5 in of lift offered by the traditional design discussed in this thread.

    I took out the Toyo 2nd and replaced with Chevy and only gained 1/2",which was what I wanted.

    Awesome! Did you cut the chevy leaf to match the toyo 2nd? I know lengths were covered in here somewhere but it's been over a month since i've read though this entire thread. Also would I be ok with the same lengths as you since I'm a first gen? Did you get a big difference in ride quality like you were wanting?
