Keep pushing the issue. In the end they will give you what you want. I once was an assistant manager at Walmart. They will do whatever as long as you keep the heat on them. If they not then go 1800walmart and file a complaint. It can be escalated beyond store level.

Looks like they did not take the weights off when they dismounted the tire and slid it down the rim I would ask how they though it might be balanced if the weight was not removed.

the wheel was probably too heavy in that spot so they had to remove some material.

That sucks dude. I'd be pissed. Hope they make it right.

Just sucks that things like this happen I washed the truck the day before and all the wheels still looked brand new, but unfortunately I cannot prove this if they ask me too and all they have to do is deny their techs did it

That looks like damage, and not just a wheel weight. Most reputable shops would have taken a light synthetic polishing wheel to that to clean off what they could.

I had a set of alloys on my Jeep balanced by discount tire, and every single time I would go in for a rotation or balance, one of their employees pulled me aside BEFORE pulling off my wheels. They would walk me through what damage already existed, so that I wasn't surprised afterwards. They also had an air driven polishing wheel that they touched up wheels with before putting them back on. That's providing a quality service - something that Wal-Mart knows little about.

If you want to keep going to Walmart for service, I would recommend turning the time/date stamp on a digital camera, and take before pictures of each wheel, in detail.
