    It seems the Canadian models already have this, for `09 at least. It was something that stuck out to me the first time I popped the hood - no throttle cable! As for MPG gains, I'm still getting about 18, so nothing noticeable over a direct cable linkage

    Confirming the 09's sold in Canada have this option. Just double checked the window sticker and it's the first thing noted under "engine". Never haver figured out my mileage though. If it got 4 miles per gallon, it would still be the best truck on the planet. JMO.
