I just purchased a new 2013 Taco and wanted to let you know of a product I received at Christmas.

It's a 8,16 or 32Gig USB for the Audio system. Great thing about this; no wires and is hardly visible when inserted into in the slot.

Just a suggestion as it's worked awesome in my Truck.

I have used a usb in my 2012 and love it. I had a Sony aftermarket in my previous truck with usb input as well and absolutely loved it. I had a 10 disc changer before that and it was nice but a pain at times and a decent bump would cause a skip here and there.

I add several different folders either by artist, type of music, etc. Makes it a little easier to find the music I want at the moment. I can also shuffle all or each individual folder. Pretty cool. :p

Yuppp. I have a Pioneer AVH1400DVD head unit and unfortunately there are no USB inputs on the back. I'm not really too keen on filling up my iPhone with music anyway, I'd rather save space for pictures and videos. I do have front USB and headphone jack on this head unit but it's a real mess to have cables hanging down the front of the dash, especially when it's really cold out and the cables are more stiff.

Found an 8gb tiny thumb drive laying around and haven't looked back. Just brought it in actually to work on actually adding ID3 tags so my music will pull up correctly. You can see in the pic it doesn't know the artist or album name. Acquired as much music as I could in an hour and it was still only 400gb. Added all the ID3 tags and stuff, loaded back up, good to go.

I wouldn't do this with a full size flash drive since it'd probably get bumped and damage itself or the head unit (worse), so this tiny size works very well for me. I already had a tiny dual USB adapter in one of my cigarette lighters in front of the shifter so I keep my iPhone topped off using that. Perfect solution, no regrets.
