Well I had to bite the bullet and fill the propane tank today, so I was wondering if anyone else used propane and what your costs were. I'm glad I supplement the furnace with wood burning stoves.

1.621 per gallon for 375 gallon
$607.88 minus 30.39 (5%) for paid in full

We sell propane for $3.50/gal where I work or $15 for a standard 20lb grill tank refill.

From what I've heard and seen Texas propane prices are dirt cheap compared to most areas. My grandparents pay over $4000 a year to heat their house in Montana. Partly because my grandpa likes it like 75 degrees all the time...

Well I guess you could hook a bbq to my tank. It will cook a few steaks to well done before running dry.

I have a 200 gallon tank, just got it filled the other day at 2.31/gal. Not too bad for this time of year actually. Luckily we have a pellet stove for primary heat.

Right now I think it is sitting in the mid 2's. I have a 500 gallon in ground tank. Of course, there is a price break the more propane you buy at least that is how it goes around here. I am going on two years with the first fill up on this tank so I don't plan on filling it until after the cold months when propane prices should come down. I am at 50% right now.

Here it is currently $2.20 / gal.

Over the summer it was $1.80. But that's just for the BBQ and camping. My house has natural gas for the heater, oven, water heater, stove...

I have a 100# (25 gallon?) tank for a small propane fireplace, pay 3.50/gallon to get it filled at the local feed store. Usually costs around 80.00 to fill about once a month between december and march

We just got 204 gals at $1.89/gal here in northeast PA. I have a small submarine buried in my yard - a 1000 gal propane tank- that runs our heating system, cooktop and back-up generator.
