    Listerines,

The Toyata folks just announced that they're coming
to my hood IN A BIG WAY ! The new Highlander plant
is going to be built in Union Co. Mississippi. For those
of you that do not have a clue where that is: It's on
US Hwy 78 in North East Ms. between Memphis, TN
and Birmingham, AL just outside of Tupelo. Reported
to be at least 2000 needed jobs when completed.

Wow! I would love to work for Toyota, but I grew up in Brandon, MS. That is a bit too much of a drive for me. Besides, if I moved back to Mississippi, I would want to live in Bay St. Louis on the coast next to my family. :D

    Andy,

Are you going to look at employment with Toyota (read: get deals on Toyota stuff  )? That is really good news anyway. Mississippi isn't doing so well after the Casinos were wiped out during Hurricane Katrina. That and the Nissan Plant in Canton isn't producing as much as they expected. Mississippi needs a break, and hopefully Toyota can give it to them! Great news! :D

wow i hope they keep their employees it seems like it not a good year for alot of employees especially in the vehicle manufacture business where they lay off thousands of people just to save money. hopefully all turns out well over there. i know they need the labor
