Had the Alpine INEZ928HD installed on my 2012 Tacoma Prerunner Access Cab with the Hertz Hi-Energy HSK 165 in the front doors and in the rear access cab door Hertz HL 70. A lot of modification to the JL stealth box in order to fit in the center console. Had to re-route power inverter under the passenger seat. Everything is powered with the JL 700.5 amp.

Looks good. Would like to hear your thoughts on the z928. How does it integrate with the steering wheel controls? Where did you put the mic for Bluetooth?
    Thanks - nice work!

Pretty much everything works with the hand controls. You can control the volume or change songs with the up and down arrows. With a click of the "mode" button you can change to FM, Ipod, Pandora etc.. When the phone rings you can still use the hand controls to pick up or end the call. The only thing you can't do is press the talk button feature and tell it to make an outbound call to your wifey. I placed the mic for the bluetooth next to the rear view mirror and it works really well. I was kind of surprise how clear it is when talking to people on it.

I wish the navigation was a little more user friendly. I always like to look at the directions after I type in a destination and you do have to jump to a few screens before you see it.

i actually was a lil surprise how hard it hits for being a 10w3. if you are looking for a clean bass i think it is perfect. the only problem is there was some modification for the 2012 and up. had to relocate the power inverter for the outlet in the tailgate underneath the passenger seat and some modification to fit it the center console. overall i am happy with the way it sounds and if i want something that hits harder i will just drive my other car

What brand is your stereo surround? Where did you get the trim for around the hazard and clock?

Looks good. Curious to hear your thoughts on the deck after you spend a little time with it. Also did you hook up Sat radio? If so do you have install an antenea or can you connect to the factory one?

The trim bezel is from Alpine. Alpine made it as 1 piece so it is houses the deck and the hazard switch

I have hook ups on certain car stereo brands. The head unit retails for $1599 but I paid $1350 and the trim bezel retails $199 and I paid $120.

Just switched from the German Maestro Concept component speakers to the Hertz Hi-energy HSK 165s today. Bitching sound. Had Meshuggah jamming in the truck today and some poor guy's eyes next to me seemed like his head was gonna explode.

If you are talking about my truck being at the dealership, than yes. I traded up to the 2016 TRD Sport loaded. There is absolutely nothing wrong with my previous 2013. I even left the entire system, save for the subs. But seeing as how I will be doing a whole new system with 10s instead of 12s, my enclosure, sub, and back up sub are for sale. Loved that truck, loved that system. The new one kicks ass too, and it is like a fresh canvas.
