I have the bakflip hd cover and have the same problem. I used it all summer and it seals really well that i haven't had to worry about it, i just let the tubes rest in the front of the bed. you can try your local hardware store to see if they have a reducer for water pipe i believe the size is 5/8 to 1/4 that way you can use the existing holes in the bed.

Let me know if you find something that works.

Some people buy a bed matt. That way you can run the drain tubes under the bed matt and everything stays dry that sits on the bed matt.
    Just a thought.

No money, all went to truck...
I drilled holes against the wall just below where the drain pipes come off the bakflip. Hose sticks out between bed and cab, can't see it.

The plastic bed liner is thicker than you think. Was harder to drill than I expected. Wear a long sleeve shirt, the fibers from the dust itched like hell.

    ABS sucks.
I just installed the same on my 1st gen. I think I'm going to just extend the tubes all the way back to the tailgate. Otherwise I'll just ignore them. If I need to keep anything really dry, I'm using those under bed storage containers.

Maybe this is a stupid question but what if it doesn't drain out through the bottom?

As in, you run the tube from the top of the cover and just plug the tube... where will the water go once the tube is filled?

I just enlarged the facory drainage holes. I belieave it is a 1" hole. I just used a circular saw drill bit. Just be careful on the driver side as that is where the neck is for the gas tank.

Into your bed. The siderail that the cover mounts to is really no different than the rain gutter on a house. Block the downspout and the gutter backs up and overflows.

Rear camera anytime switch, 4x4 Illuminated Switch (from rcbs204) , rear view mirror lift bracket (from ImMrYo), 75 cent tailgate anti-theft. Technically not mods but give me a break I'm trying to fill space here... OEM Leather pkg, keyless unlock & ACC chime silence, BakFlip G2, Ultra Gauge EM, WeatherTech floor mats, OEM roof rack
Same here... drilled thru sides, squeezed the tubing through. Done and done.

I think OP abandoned this thread anyway..
