Never had trouble getting them balanced personally. If you can swallow the up front cost of them chances are you will never regret it.

My dad has been running Michelin LTX for years on his Tundra. Always brags about the several times he has passed other 4x4 that were stuck going into job sites.

With the amount of driving you do....

Michelin LTX....I have them on the Ridgeline;66,000 miles and that is everything miles..trips to Florida twice a year and now this week they just pulled me over a "surprise" snow covered Class 6 road and NEVER broke loose ;)..
    definite 4 season tires..

These were also the tire Brand for the Pilot that was replaced by the Ridgeline.60000+ trouble free miles on those when it traded :)....still 4-5/32 on them...

Granted they will not "bring" me all the places my Grabber AT2's will  BUT NO NOISE,great gas MPG's and their MICHELIN's :D....

    Sky King,

This is my 4th set of Michelin LTXs. I have never had a balancing problem with any of them in 350,000 miles++. Mine were always spun balanced.

    the Michelin LTX M/S
is a great tire and will run over 100k miles

    the General Grabber HTS
is a smoother and muchhh quieter ride
    with outstanding wet traction

    i have used both
and either would be a great choice

the Grabbers are much less expensive

    hope this helps

Another vote here for the LTX MS2's, for all the reasons mentioned

This...If I didn't care about looks I'd get the M/S 2, but since I may make it in the dirt and want a little more aggressive look, I am going with the A/T 2.
