33x12.5x15 or 33x10.5x15 opinions????

    What is a 33 10.5 equivalent to? 285/70/? I am going for a 16 inch rim

    265/80-16 would be like 10.4x32.7 or something ( aslo doesn't exist)

    If you want a 33 on a 16 you pretty much have to go wide (285/75) or skinny (255/85).

    285/75 = 11.2x32.8" (mathematically speaking)

    255/85 = 10x33.1" (however KM2s are more like 33.4" tall, best bet if you want skinny)

    255/85r16

    When I was looking for a tall/skinny, I considered 33x10.5r15, 255/85r16 and 255/80r17. It was interesting to see that BFG is about the only mfg to have these sizes which they claim all end up being very close dimensionally to 33x10.5. They are also very similarly priced at about $200-$210 per tire. At least ar Tire Rack this was true.
