I'm looking to buy an exhaust for my 2011 tacoma. It's a double cab short bed. I've blacked everything out and want the exhaust to be black as well. I've been looking at the Mbrp installer series aluminized steel but I can't tell if its black or not. Any suggestions? Words of wisdom? Oh and I'm looking to have that throaty sound at idle and acceleration, but don't want the drone sound at speeds. Thanks in advance.

There are multiple good brands of aftermarket exhausts out there and most have deep throaty sounds for the most part. I really like my Flowmaster 50 series dual exhaust setup and I've had it for about 4 years now.

I suggest you go around and see if you can listen to different exhausts hooked up to trucks. Even if you hear a internet sound clip, it will sound different in person.
I like Flowmaster personally but its all a personal choice.
