Well, it's not really my garage. Just my friends that I'm always over at and they park their cars in it.

The back of the garage is split kinda funny so I can't have it straight in on the left side and I would have to be up against wall on the right so I have to park at an angle to be able to get out.

It was installed when my friends moved in. It is some linoleum tile, It was super scuffed up when we moved in and they don't really care to much about it so it just stays dirty. All though I have spilled some break fluid on it and it seemed to clean up ok with a paper towel. But it is pretty nice compared to bare concrete. But if it was my house I would put down a floor sealant instead.

How damaging is the sun on an exposed vehicle? I have "covered" parking at my complex but my truck sits out in the sun for the better part of the week while I'm at the office.

I see countless vehicles with damaged hoods, roofs, trunks, etc.

Just wondering how to properly delay the inevitable.

Of the almost 8 years I've had mine, it spent 2 full years parked outside. The others years are all in garage. But it sits outside in the sun at least a couple of days each week. It's got 126k miles on it, so you know it has spent a lot of time "outdoors". Paint still looks new. I do wax it 1-2 times per year. Interior holding up almost as good. UV protection in the glass really helps nowadays. Only complaint is the plastic insert that the power windows switches sit in on the driver's side has faded to a different shade than the rest of the dash. Seems those pieces fade easier. But exterior-wise, no worries.

Sorry to bump an old thread but does anyone have any specific measurements on their garage? Reason I ask is I am looking to rent a garage that has an inside length of 229". I know the DCLB is 221.4" but wanted to get some real world feedback on whether or not I can realistically park inside with around 3" of clearance on each side.

I need to get the Garage cleaned out. I have the Charger on one side and tools and all on the other so hard to find room for both.
