So proud of myself!

So a few friends an I are headed down to the river to enjoy our last day before classes. I roll outta be and put on my swim suit. Much to my dismay, I find one side of the draw string is pulled into the wasteband. I frantically search with my fingers to find exactly where the lump of the knot in the draw string is hidden. I start working it back in the right direction with my fingers until it was about 3/4" from the hole.

Now realize this is my first day in my new apartment. I am subletting from my friend so other than my clothes and food, I have no idea where anything is. The inkpens are too big for the hole to reach the string, an allen wrench wont grab it. Then I remember, when I was unpacking my clothes last night, I briefly saw a giant clothing pin like the kind they put in dress shirts so you stab yourself when you try them on.

I finally stabbed through the end of the string and pryed that bitch out of there.


That is all time to go enjoy the river

Haha well we made it out there around noon. Got in the rapids about waist deep and just hung out. As soon as we cracked open a few beers the rain came. We stayed for a while longer, after all, we were already soaked haha
