    It's all marketing.....

    Saving 77 galloons of gas over the life of the tire = 65,000 mile tire over about 5 year period (for example) is only about 1386 miles (18mpg). That's only about 2%.

    Keeping your air pressure regulated & checked regularly could save you that much (or more) over the life of the tire.
