My First Tacoma!

    Hey all!

    So I finally bit the bullet and got my first new truck about a month ago. She's a 2013 Doublecab 4x4 TRD Sport. Quite the upgrade from the 2001 Honda CR-V I was driving before. I bought that when I was younger hoping to take advantage of the better gas mileage and the ability to still go camping with it. It became very clear that didn't work out...so every camping trip I always ended up borrowing my dad's 2000 Prerunner Access Cab. Fell in love with the truck and it just became a matter of time until I could afford one of my own. After dealing with issue after issue on a supposed "certified pre-owned" vehicle, I decided new was the best way to go! Besides, these things hold their value like no other.

    So happy to have my new truck. Hope to be able to contribute to the site one day with either some mods or problem-solving of my own! :) My girlfriend and I took the truck up to Flagstaff to enjoy the snow. Can't wait to take it camping!

    Hahaha that's exactly what it's going to do. Looking around this site has made me want to do a lot to my truck. I'll begin with the boring stuff - such as weathertech digital fit floor mats, cargo nets, etc. I think my first "mod" is going to be relocating the differential breathers before I get a chance to take the truck through some water.
