    Hi all

I bought a '06 4x4 Access Cab 2.7 Liter this year and I'm looking to put tires/wheels and possibly a lift on it. Everything is stock. I've been reading a bunch and most people suggest 265/75/16 for tires, 17x8 or 17x9 for wheels. Does this sound right? My buddy as an '11 and he had some rubbing when he turned the wheel all the way with his 265/75/16 before he put his lift on, I'm hoping to avoid this.

Any thoughts on a lift? I'm thinking a 2.5", no spacers.

    Thanks in advance!

265/75r16 (the 16 means it fits on a 16" wheel)

This tire size will fit on your stock Tacoma without any lift at all.

Since you have the 2.7 I would definitely keep in mind that your power and gas mileage will take a greater hit if you get huge, heavy, mud terrains.

Keep an eye on what tread pattern you get and how much your wheels and tires weigh

For example, my Konigs weigh 18 lbs each and my tires weigh 40 lbs (58 total) plus the tread pattern isn't overkill for what I drive on.
