Amazon has mega-packs around $150. It would probably take 2 or 3 packs.

I used raamaudio for my first dampening , experience btw I didn't get a discount as they have a slightly new set up and new location, employee, etc. Either way it was still relatively cheap at 170ish with shipping, which was at my doorstep the next morning since I'm about 100 Miles away.

Since it was my first time and I wasn't expecting it (most of my tools were at work) it took me about a day and a half. Just using raamaudio's how to, some advice from mr. marv, I got the 4 doors done with plenty left over for back wall for when I get my amp, box, and sub in a few Weeks. I just kept knocking on the door till I felt it sounded solid enough for me. Have to say it was a huge improvement, without it I was missing alot of tones and now I feel the mids throughout the front seat rather that at my legs.

Good luck with your purchase and install

^There ya go, someone finally gets it.

If you want to get REALLY fancy get some ensolite (foam) to go over the deadener and then use mass loaded vinyl as the final layer. The truck will be quiet as a mouse.

^Absolutely (if you're talking about the mass loaded vinyl. For the floor, a constrained layer dampener like dynamat or raamat isn't really effective. That's where the closed cell foam and mass loaded vinyl work best. I wouldn't waste money on regular deadener down there.

^I'll second that (no pun intended). Sound Deadener Showdown is even better!

Sound Deadener Showdown why is it considered better? I know it good quality stuff, but how the pricing compare to other brands. If we had a rep in Hawaii it bee real good and maybe cheaper with the shipping shoots.

    This.

I had Rick hook me up.. Guy know his shit inside and out. I did the rammatt with the sound foam on the floor pans, rear wall, vertical walls, doors, and inside the door skins. The sound output is amazing now. Took about 20hours to install.
