cheap tire shine?

    Hey guys looked online for tire shine stuff i already have most of the stuff they recommended. any one have any ideas to keep new tires shiny?
    1. i heard vegetable oil works?
    2. clean tire, spray with cleaner, then black shoe polish to keep the shine.
    please post you're tips

    not sure if it will work on tires... but i use Pledge http://www.pledge.com/en-US/Products/Pages/dust-and-allergen.aspx on the black plastics like bed rails/bumper caps, and on my interior to give it a shine without the oily build up of "automotive shine" products. i am not sure how it will work on rubber tires. i can test it out tomorrow during the day time
