It's nice. FDE = gold though. Kind of expected, however.

IF I do in fact sell either the LPK or the lower, they're going as a package.

Anytime you add something to a firearm, think to yourself "Is my life worth this $2 accessory failing when I need it?"

I'm diggin' Elzetta lighting these days. Nothing will replace my Surefires though I use Streamlight on my handguns because I like the beam pattern better.

But any PROVEN product is ok with me.

...I'd even take a Garrity duct taped to my rail over some of the stuff I've seen on people's firearms.

    CSB:

Yes, I have trusted my lift to Garrity before, and most likely will many times in the future.... They are ubiquitous in the fire service, attached to your head with a section of intertube along with a door stop. ;)

I have a Lightbox in my taco, I love them and have toted one through pure hell. Unfortunately they fail. EXTREMELY rarely, but they do fail. There's just too much to go wrong in one (You ever take one apart?) Then bulbs blow, AGM batteries have this habit of just giving up the ghost, etc.

Those cheap flashlights are just a battery, a "switch" made of 2 pieces of metal that touch, and the bulb. You can melt one into just about a puddle and they still light... There's something to say about simplicity if done right.

They did those little lights right. That's why there's several about my home, shop, and office.

It's one of the few times in the world where cheap works.

I run Surefire and streamlight lights on most if my guns, but I just picked up an Inforce WML that is pretty decent and just the right size to go on a 14.5 Afghan I am finishing.
So far I am pretty impressed with it.

Depends. Are you wanting a light for inside or outside?

Inside, I wouldn't go over 150-200 lumens... remember, if you sweep something reflective, you can kill your night vision. This is why I like the Streamlight weaponlights on handguns, they have a super wide beam for inside work.

Outside, the sky is the limit :)

I am a huge fan of the NEBO lights. Fairly new company. I have been using 2 of their flashlights for a while. No problems. Bright as shit! Not expensive. About 60 bucks.
