A guy I work with has the Atrix. I guess not long ago it got an ICS update, and he's having issues with it now.

He must have the Atrix 2. The original Atrix didn't get the ICS update. It was limited to the Atrix 2 and the HD. The last update for mine was Gingerbread. It came with Froyo. Either that or he rooted and unlocked the bootloader and went with a custom ROM. I never did that as much of the Motorola functionality wouldn't work (e.g. webtop).

The Atrix 2 was a disappointment as well. It came with half the memory (mine has 16gb), got rid of the fingerprint scanner and they changed the jacks around so it wasn't compatible with the original's accessories. It was also an HSPA+ 4g phone vs LTE.

Ya, it's big. Ain't no doubt. Thing is, when you take it out to clean it up, the phone looks really small!:D:D

Got mine yesterday. Super nice! My wife is thinking about getting one now that she's seen the screen. She has an iPhone 4. She likes the ease of use of the phone but the screen is too small.

One thing was odd when I went to activate it. I wasn't getting any LTE network. I did a quick search and found that some said that AT&T dropped their data plan when updating through the website. I chose to keep my old one when I bought it and sure enough, they dropped the data plan. It wasn't a big deal since I'm not grandfathered into an unlimited anyway. Once I selected a data plan, everything worked fine. The speed is awesome. I did a speedtest.net test and came up with 19.721 Mbps down/7.279 Mbps up. My best with the HSPA+ phone (same as an iPhone 4s on AT&T) was about 7Mbps down and 1.6Mbps up, with it usually averaging around 5Mbps down/1Mbps up.

    Nice.

I'll bet I've sold a bunch of these things. Everytime I have it out, someone has to ask what it is, and is always impressed.

    Enjoy!
