like the amp bar since truck is lifted and my gf is having troubles to get in and out but it costs $1300 in the us and $1500 in Canada. Other bars cost $3-500 which sometimes won't work well with snow or too much dirt.
Those normal black bars will probably look better on my truck vs amp is much fancier when door is opening and closing.

    Need help to Choose

My dad has had the Amp power steps on his Suburban for almost year now I think. We all love them. We haven't had any issues with them yet, except the one on the right side wasn't going up all the way up on the back, so we oiled it and it slammed up real quick for a little while, but other than that no problems at all. It actually does look kinda fancy when opening the doors on it haha. I dont know much about the other ones but I love the power steps on his Suburban.

    Always something
Several trucks back, I had a Ford Excursion with 12" lift and 41" tires. On that truck, I was very glad to have amp steps lower when the doors are open. During the time I've had it, only had problems twice. I believe both times was due to a short in the battery connection. Never figured out why as I had tighten all connections, but it woudl fixt itself after tugging the battery strap. Believe me, it was a rude awakening the first time when I fell out of my truck thinking there was a step below.

Recommendation is to get it, but just make sure you have all the wires on nice and solid.
