new to forum

Just bought 09 Tac V6 4x4 SR5, pick it up today. Pretty much stock but has locking rear dif which is what I needed. My son lives in Santa Clara CA, daughter in Hollister CA, Anybody been to Hollister Hills SVRA? My son and I have this "contest", he has a 4runner (see where this is going). Anyway, I will be modifying my truck and hope to benefit from your post and share my experiences with you.

Thanks for the welcome. This Tac is replacing my trusty steed 01 Dakota with 201000 miles, it was time. Ever since my son (4runner) showed me and let me drive in the hills, I got hooked. The wife and I are retiring in 2 years, selling the house, getting a small camper~17 ft and go cross country to Calif.
I really agonized on trying to find the right truck to "do it all" and I feel this is it.
