So i dont own a toyota at all. But a buddy i work with does and he is always asking me questions about his truck? Weird. I know right? But he is by no means mechanical at all.

So the question is has anyone on here ever bypassed the brake assist feature? He hates driving around and having the truck downshift and brake itself. He wants to coast. I didnt know if there was a way to put in a switch to switch the brake assist on and off or if you can just completely override it with a tune or chip or something?

Please dont hate or give disrespectful comments. Im here for a buddy of mine and have no idea about these trucks. Thanks. If there are any threads on this. Please point metowards them. Thanks again
