Gf is car shopping

I have an 01 civic with 285k miles, dad bought it with 4. Still hasn't needed any major work. Great cars. I'm 6'4'' and can fit just fine. Not in the bad very well though since it's a coupe.

 

I vote for civic as well...I had a 1999 civic EX w/ 120K that I just sent to the graveyard for a $4700 (totaled) insurance check...

I am getting a tacoma now but if not it would be a 2006-2008ish civic...they are bang for your buck a great car...

She has an old '99 corolla that chugs like a litre of oil a week.

 

Get her a first gen

 

She is sitting next to me and has vetoed your suggestion because fuel economy.

 

She says a super lifted sunfire would suit her better haha

 

My son put 120,000 on his TC with zero issues, only money spent was tires and oil and gas.

Also there are almost no used tc's for sale up here. People just are not selling these cars so the ones for sale up here tend to be high priced $$

 

Corolla fully loaded. Cheap, great on gas, very reliable.

 

those get the same mileage as a v6, minus the power.
