I'm trying to post a link to a site for products related to conversation and it comes up with nothing.

Doesn't work posting the URL directly into the post or using a hyperlink.

Are there restrictions on the links posted?

    I've never had a problem.

Are you posting the entire URL?

Post including the "http://www." portion and the forum software will automatically parse it into a link.

If you are copying and pasting from another forum, be careful because they frequently cut and paste as "http://www.mylink.con/googl........ypage.html"

Just checked your posting history and it seems the only problem was in the stolen cat thread.

Even though the profanity filter is pretty forgiving, there are SOME words that are censored, and some web pages get caught up in it from time to time.
There are also some web sites that are intentionally blocked.

    ^ exactly.

Just wondering whether there was a problem with that particular company that was hiding somewhere in these threads.

Thanks for your help guys, glad to know it's not just my account.
