    I got a 12 taco, 6spd manual. right now with 19000 miles.. got a squek and stiff clutch.. I lubed the clutch inside three weeks ago. no problem. it came back . got a better fix for this?

    New truck, take it to the dealer. Get it documented at the least. If it is the clutch itself making noise it's probably the throw out bearing. If its the clutch pedal get in there and tighten the nut on the connecting rod. There are TSB's for both of these issues.

    its the clutch pedel.. Yes sir, will be stopping by to the dealer Monday, have them looking into it..

    I have 6500 miles on my 2012 (Purchased Jan 2012) and just had the clutch pedal / assembly replaced under the TSB...

    So far no noise but I am not holding my breath

    went to dealer today.. told of the problem. they looked into it. claimed that my truck is not under the TSB but they will do under the manufactor warty. They will replace clutch pedal and assby. SO see what happen...

    I grease my pedal cam once every 2-3 weeks. Also need to spray oil through the clutch fork opening to keep the clutch from being stiff and making terrible "rusty hinge" kind of noise.
    It's just "normal and enjoyable" Toyota ownership. After all they will last forewer as long as you keep them repaired daily.:mad:
