Gen. 1 (2003) nav HU options.

What size options are available for my 2003 taco. I have the stock cd/ tape player. I want to go double din after market HU with a 7 inch screen and nav if at all posible. Is there any specific HU's to stay away from due to fitment issues?

I ran a 7 inch eclipse in my jeep and loves it but 7 inches looks like it may be very tight in the gen. 1 tacoma.

it will fit i put one in my brothers 03.. and i even had one in my 94 pickup.. might have to trim a little bit but i think you will be ok because i didnt have to trim his but at the same time some 7 inch faces are a little over sized..

Thanks for the info guys! I had the avn726e and loved it. That pioneer looks awesome , did you have to cut/trim or did it fit right in? . To bad eclipse doesn't sell retail anymore. I'm really into that pioneer. Any issues with lag for the GPS start up? Is all blue tooth and hands free talk? I'm going too keep my eyes for another nav now that I know it will fit. Thanks again for all the help!
