So, about two months ago I upgraded from 300 to 800wt and two new subs. My ground wire was to fat so I drilled a whole in frame n bam! But I noticed a couple of days ago that my amp wouldn't turn off when I turned off my truck. Then! I noticed that she had a REAL hard time starting. Next thing I know my truck won't start. So I have a truck that will start with a jump start, and an amp that won't turn on. I feel like I can't win. Any suggestions??

remote turn on is always on draining battery

i have seen a few installs where bare wire was used to connect the +12 to the amp, some of the strands made their way to touching the remote turn on terminal. this kept the amp on at all times and drained the battery in that case.

grab yer multimeter and check those connections with key off. if you get any voltage key off at the remote terminal....start tracing that wire to see where you are getting a hot short.
