Center console cargo net

I'm not trying to be knit picky but should I have gotten that little cargo net thingy that goes in the center console of my new 13 Taco or is it something you have to purchase separately?

Do I already have it and just don't know it or haven't found or ?????

I did recently find the bigger cargo net for the back but I never even took it out of the bag. Is it in the bag with the big one or somewhere else???

Not a big deal either way but I am curious if I have it and just don't know it.

 

Try looking in the storage compartments under the rear seats if your a double cab, also fold down the seat backs because there is storage areas there as well. Glove box too if you haven't looked there yet.

 

I've looked there but I haven't REALLY looked.

Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to go thru every nook and cranny in this thing so I at least know where all the shit is.

I only found the large cargo net in my compartment next to the jack fortunately i kept the small one out of my 2008

Boyyyy, come tomorrow, I'm marching my ass down to that place and demanding a full refund because they stole my little cargo net out of the center console......

If I can't get a full refund maybe I'll just settle for a fresh cup of coffee. I better get there early if I want the fresh stuff....

 

I would think the dealer would give you one. I bough my '10 used and the console net was of corse missing. It was only $7.00 from the dealer. I do find it to be useful.

 

I know when I got my truck the front 2 cup holders had those rubber inserts. Hate those took a spreading divider off a used Taco when I was doing the used inspection on it. As for the small net I found mine in the rear storage area under the seats. Maybe they stopped using them...or maybe yours didn't get one. Either way I'd look the truck over first and then ask nicely with the sales person you had and they should hook you up with one.

 

They stopped giving them out after 2009 model year.

Cargo net for the center console?? I found a little cargo net under the rear seats (have a double cab), but it goes in the area behind the rear seat back...

 

My 2012 did not come with one. Bought mine on EBay.

hmmmm....yea my '09 had one, but my '12 does not. It's all good though, I went with a center console organizer and like it much better anyway.

Where is the stock one supposed to be at? I have a 2011

 

My 2013 didn't come with either cargo net. Also left out was the 7 into 4 trailer lighting adapter that was supposed to come with my tow package (listed as part of the tow package in the brochure).

I was a little pissed, went back to the dealer and we went through every Tacoma on the lot. None of them had the adapter. They also didn't have any in the parts department which meant they were never added or removed at the SE Toyota distributor.

Gave away both the cargo net and trailer adapter with my '07. In hindsight, should have pulled them.

All this for an $8 part on a $32k truck. Really?

 

I have a 2011, it didn't come with one.

 

Just ordered mine for my 2013. Dealer charged me $19 (I'm in Canada). They confirmed in 2009 Toyota stopped installing them from the factory.
