Finally got my truck back after a month of it being in the shop getting repaired from an accident i was involved in. So to make a really long story short, i was at a stop light waiting to turn and a car from the other side of the rd lost control jumped the median and side swiped me. In the process he clipped my rear tire and it pushed back twisting the rear axle causing the drive shaft to pull out.

Body looked a lot worst than it actually was. Replaced driver front door, rear door, the part behind the rear door was also cut out and replaces they actually sell that body panel, and driver rear panel on bed. Sounds like a lot, but it wasn't that expensive for those parts.

As far as the rear end goes everything is practically new. They said everything would be replaced for precautions. I didn't have any frame damage so insurance covered all the repairs.

New rear axle housing with new differential
    New left/right axle
    New drive shaft
    New carrier bearing
    New leaf packs
    New shocks

Didn't notice if wheel bearings were changed.

I was extremely happy to get the truck back until i started noticing little things that i didn't before. I'm getting this weird rear end noise/vibration thing going on when pulling of at low speed while turning. As far as driving straight everything is perfect without any noise, rear end feels kind of stiff possibly from new factory leaf with my added 1.5 aal. I am feeling a slight vibration when accelerating between 5-10 mph, but i figure its from my lift and i honestly cant even remember if i had it before the accident. Went underneath and also noticed where the drive shaft goes into the transmission i noticed some oil. Assuming its the seal, and my brakes don't feel as firm as before, probably has some air in lines. I wanted to see if i can maybe get some ideas before i take it back in before i am stuck without a vehicle for a few days. I found some similar issues with people getting the same kind of vibration, but it was with the LSD detecting slipping from possible fluid change, but from what i have researched the 2011 have a different system. No LSD, but using the brakes to react like an LSD or something like that. I could be totally wrong. The vibrations seems to be more noticeable after truck has been sitting and it kind of goes away after some driving, but not fully. I still get a slight noise.

My major concern is the rear end noise. Going to check the differential fluid in the morning.

If anyone one can give me some ideas on what the rear end issue could be i would appreciate. Maybe i will give it some time, but hoping its nothing major.

Wheel bearings are part of the axle so I wouldn't worry too much about them.

The oil leak at the transmission may mean that you need a new seal back there. Especially if the drive shaft got yanked out in the accident.

Can you describe the noise at all? Different noises mean different things and does it only happen when turning, coasting, accelerating, braking, etc?

I guess it more or less sounds like a binding noise. Only happens when i pull of at very low speed while turning like if I'm going in or out of a parking space, or turning slowly from a stop sign. It's a lot worst when the vehicle has been sitting for a while and I notice it a lot more when on the brakes while turning slowly.

I don't know if since the differential is new it has a break in period before the oil has fully penetrated all gears, so maybe I will give it some time. Might change the fluid today with some mobil 1 and see if it makes a difference. Would 75-90 be the correct oil?

The transmission seal was actually changed when they did the repairs, so I don't know why it's still leaking. It's not enough of a leak to where its dripping, but you can see it slightly at the bottom of that housing thats apart of the drive shaft where the drive shaft goes into the transmission. It's an easy repair that I can do myself so I can monitor it after and see if it comes back.
