For those that have the front bumper and used the Rigid lights for the fog light location

Getting close to placing order for front bumper and skid plate wanted to make sure I was getting the right stuff

Also wondering if I should get powder coated or Line-X

Rigid dually flood is what I have, I heard they got perfectly.

I got mine on a group buy but Amazon sells them as we'll as venders on here. Look at the group buy section and look for "rigid led group buy?" They offer a coupon for them

    Odds and Ends
    Dually Floods are the preferred
They fit perfect, its what we recommend
Super easy install, can use factory fog wiring as well since its a lower draw
You can get them just about everywhere, I like Sierra Expeditions

Line X is probably more durable, if you like the texture that's a great way to go. Powdercoat is good stuff and pretty durable but wont taks as much abuse as the line-x

Update for the rear Hi-Clearance bumpers

They are fully formed and welded plate. The main mounts to the frame are one piece through the bumper for ultimate strength. The main mounts are 3/8" Steel, all of the other plate components are 3/16" thick. The hidden hitch option behind the license plate is additionally supported with 2" square tubing that is 3/16" wall. The factory license plate lights are reused. Light cutouts for Rigid Flush-mounts are also optional.

Swing outs hinges are massive 1.75" spindles with ball bearings and zerk fittings. The latch is a Synergy Suspension rotary lock that is completely fail safe. The swing out automatically locks open when its fully extended using a spring lock pin. The pin rides on a stainless track to prevent corrosion and galling into steel.

Swing out pictured is pretty standard, additional options are available at customers request.

So sick!!! That legit looks better than anything I have seen. Everything you make looks like it is from a 100 million dollar company! There are three things I would need to make this perfect!

    1) The Ability to bolt up the stock hitch for everyday life. Then I would just take it off when it is time to wheel.

    2) A rear camera relocation bracket so that I don't lose my backup camera. What would be crazier would be if the wiring was already ran through the tire rack or there was a place/hole to run wires through for camera or more unnecessary or very necessary lights!

    3) Optional Light Brackets.

2008taco you make some good points. There is one major point you missed!.... This is Tyler we are talking to.

I have not doubt that his hitch is most likely stronger than factory. The issue is that it will not be D.O.T. certified. I am not sure if it necessarily has to be, but if something were to happen and someone got hurt that would leave me liable. Plus, where do I put my license plate when I tow lol?

I think the exposed wires would be the least of my concern there are a ton of ways seal and protect wires.

Rusting from the inside out would be my biggest concern. I would maybe consider coming up with a clean way to run the wires outside of the tube and protecting them with something else.

Don't get me wrong this is still one of the best bumpers I have seen. I just wanted to bring up a few ideas that could truly differentiate Pelfreybilt from anything out there. I have been looking around and it seems that quite a few people are concerned about losing their camera. The hitch I will have to look into the laws and determine if that is real issue.

if towing, the license plate on your trailer works, my dad always tows our 5th wheel and you cant see his plates

I'm sure Tyler could work with you to get the most out of your bumper, I know he has worked very patiently with me and has said everything I asked for in the rear bumper would be doable (note: I havent asked for much but what I did ask for he said we could try to figure something out)
