Hi. I've been looking at replacement door speakers for my 98 SR5. I really like the look of the Rockfords P165, and I like the build in tweeter. Any input on any other brands? Thanks!

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
My suggestions is take some time out and go listen to some speakers. If you like them, then buy them. We all have different listening preference. I like hard metal type tweeters like aluminum or titanium and some like soft dome like silk.

Heard some Polks and Kenwoods. They didnt really blow me away. The memphises were good. The Rockfords wouldnt cooperate. I hadnt listened to kickers, but the shop wont be able to warranty them. Decisions Decisions....

I went with Rockford Fosgate P165. Theyre an improvement over stock. I love them. Not much base tho. Probably going to get a sub later down the road
