I have a new 2012 Tacoma I have the standard factory warranty and I have a lifetime power train warranty (I didn't add it was a promo from the dealer I bought from) basically I want the lights but I don't want to void the factory warranty of course the dealer claimes theres no factory option to add and I believe my truck is prewired so it seems like I would have to add the lights and the switch and regulator any thoughts???

I have seen a lot of post on the fog lights but I could not find one specifically on the warranty aspect

I dont see why it would void the factory warranty since its not really a modification to the truck. Its a normal part that goes on the truck so its not like your cutting into the bumper and adding aftermarket lights.

You can add fog lights to your truck and the only way that your warranty will be void if those lights you installed wrecked something that was OEM. The dealership has to prove that it was your fog lights that you installed caused the problem. So mod on!
