I bought 2013 Toyota Tacoma- limited package (pyrite mica color). This is my first truck and am loving the different ride it has from the car or Crossovers I have owned in past. The JBL speakers are nice additions.

This forum is great to follow in knowing and improvising the truck in future.

I do have one question for the forum: I am noticing some clunk nose when the automatic transmission changes from 2nd to 3rd gear. Is it something normal during break-in process ? I have 700 miles on it at present.

    Thanks in advance !!

Welcome! Hope you like it. I have an 01 with Automatic. I haven't noticed a clunk ever, but I don't pay attention to much. I would follow what the manual says about the break in process. 1000 or so miles of not going to fast, not to high in your RPMs, and maybe some other misc stuff.

Sweet looking Taco, and welcome to TW from VA!
It could still be breaking itself in. For the first thousand miles, avoid constant speeds and throttle settings. Avoid top-speed testing or towing heavy trailers for at least the first 1000 miles.

Heated seats and JBL audio is nice. I also like the 18 inch wheels as ride is smoother. Tow package is suppose to be good with sway control but have not used it. I do not do off road so wanted something other than TRD off road/speed package.

    Paid 35K for it.
