warrenty an lift ?

So I have a 13 an of course it has warrenty an I wanna lift it are there any of yall that have done this? If so how does it effect your warrenty??

 

Won't void your whole warranty. Obviously if parts of the lift fail Toyota isn't going to replace your aftermarket parts. Should the lift cause (or they say it does) other parts to fail they theoretically could deny the warranty claim.

 

did they reset your VSC? curious because I want to install a lift probably have the Stealership do it so no warranty issues but now I seen this in a thread and freaking out.

Thats kind of pricey to be honest with you. You can get the full OME setup for less then $800 for the parts so $1K for install?? He can probably go somewhere else then the dealership for cheaper. I had a shop install my 5100s all around with 885's up front and AAL's in the rear including TC UCA's and new wheels and tires mounted and balanced and a front end alignment for around $600 in labor.

 

Mark Miller Toyota here in Utah sells the OME suspension lift....On their website it is listed @ $2500.00

 

Yeah I know what your saying and you didnt overpay to much but I know where your coming from. Hmmm I wonder where your vibes are coming from? Do you have a differential drop kit?

 

I think the Dakars add $400 +/- to your $800
OME w/ Dakars are in the $1100-$1200 Range
Can someone verify, plz?

That price actually isn't that bad for the stealership. You're probably 1300ish from Toytec so that would leave 500 for install. Which is what I paid the off road shop I used to install my Toytec lift with UCA's and alignment.

 

I have the same takeoff shudder with the full OME kit.

Only noticeable if I punch on the gas from a stop. I have the carrier bearing drop and no diff drop

 

A diff drop kit might possibly get rid of that vibe but I'm not 100% sure of it. I added a drop kit shortly after my install but even before my install I didnt experience any weird vibes that I can remember?
