    Picked up a Jbl sub on eBay for 1 dollar. Wire harness for rca plugs 12 dollars and the amp at Walmart for 44 dollars. I would have to say for what I have in it, it was well worth it. I think the factory jbl sub sounds great. It's all I need. I trimmed my factory storage tray to fit around the sub.

    I hate to say it man, but this thread is worthless without some pictures. Why did you buy a seperate amp? You know the sub IS the amp right? Its all one piece.

    Well since I installed it, I know the amp is a seperate item from the sub. Hence I had to buy an amp lol.

    That's interesting. I didn't know they could be seperated. You should keep us posted on how that thing handles the different power source in the end.
