Can the divider be moved to any point along the bed rail? i.e. can it be set up near the cab?

 

I like the idea. I would use it for my tool boxes when I'm headed to and from work. Keep them from sliding around my bed and easily accessible. Also for groceries and cases of water after grocery shopping.

 

Might be a good idea. I just usually use tie downs and a bin.

 

I thought about putting a hook or two on the doors to hang grocery bags from. I thought about placing up near the cab and yes you could do that but I wanted it to keep items near the tailgate withing reach. It is best for tonneau cover people.

 

^I ask because a $230 Amp bed extender also functions as near-tailgate bed divider.

 

With the money aspect never being an issue for me, I don't like these type of bed "extenders". I don't want to have to relocate it for full access to the bed and don't ever need to carry small items near the end of the bed with the tailgate open. Big items stay put with a strap. I am simply exploring and researching this idea. Thank you for the input however, and keep it coming.
