I tried a search, but couldn't find any "concrete" info concerning the contents of the tow package.

I was wondering if it includes and adapter for the 7 pin round one that is on the truck. I think it sounld have been included, according to the toyota site.

The only things that I got were--usb cord. trailer brake harness, and caps for protecting the backup camera wires when romoving the tailgate.

    Thanks!

No it does not come with the package. Most dealers will throw it in if you ask but aren't required.

Not included. A few bucks at your local parts store. As mentioned maybe the dealer will throw one in for you.

    Stock for now
The toyota site & tow package described as a 7 pin w/ converter gets misunderstood at times.
The "converter" is part of the electrical system from the 7 pin connector to the truck not the truck to the trailer.
If your truck doesn't come with the tow package & you add aftermarket, the wiring harness comes with a converter box that fits behind the tail light.
But as the guys have said the $10 at any hardware or auto store buys you a Hoppy black socket plug that changes the 7 pin configuration to 4 or ask your sales guy to give you one.

Thanks a lot everyone! Yeah, I misunderstood what it said for the tow package. I know it's a cheap part, but was just wondering.
