GPS mount at rear view mirror

    This is a question for those of you who are electrically inclined.

    I was looking at mounting my Garmin GPS up by my rear view mirror and would like to tie in to the existing wiring. There should be continous power available because of the temperature display. Will this work or do I have to feed the wiring over to the fuse box?
