ever called 9-1-1 ?

I've responded to plenty of 911 calls...

I've called a handful of times...

Most recently was Tuesday... Older neighbor lives alone and his friends hadn't heard from him since Sunday... Found him on the floor, but alive.

In the past- I've called for several car accidents, a couple seizures, last year had a guy flash a gun and threaten a client's employee while on a job site.

Always call from a land line if possible!

 

Called 911 a couple of weeks ago for myself. Only because when I called the hospital they told me to.

 

DUI's.

And occasionally just to talk to Dispatch. It's nice having the backdoor number sometimes.

 

Personnaly I never have, made the decision to call them numerous times (I'm a ski patroller and its the only way to get an ambulance) in two months I will be responding to 9-1-1 calls as third man (student) on ambulances!

 

Called once and it was busy, had to google the local police number and called the local police .

Called another time and it was busy, again had to call the local fire department to come assist a friend that was having a seizure.

Called another time, police took 35 min to come.

 

saw two idiots trying to steal a car around 4:30am.. i walked toward the car, they saw me, jumped out of the car while they were trying to bump start down the hill, the unoccupied car crashed into a tree, idiots ran away, i called 911. ended up working with the victim a few years later at a car dealership, said he left his car unlocked and the keys in the glovebox
luckily he had a problem with the ignition that you had to turn the key back and forth quickly to get it to start and the thieves couldn't get it to work, so they tried to bump start it..

Half an hour ago. Called non emergency for a 66 year old female. Diabetic, vomiting since 6 pm, brief loss of consciousness, fell down and bumped her head. Taken to hospital for further evaluation due to blood thinner and knot on head from fall.
