Couldn't tell if the height of the cap had any bearing on handling.

Man sorry to hear that. There was an ARE Z series on Craigslist (GA) today for $150 bucks!!! I called the guy and someone was already on their way to pick it up. It was the deal of the century!!

 

Really, a Z series for 150.00.............great deal............I'm happy with mine. Warranty dosent carry from one truck to another, it will be color matched and I really wanted the side windows.............

Got the call today that my new CX cap is in, only thing is Ive got 3 inches of snow on the ground here and its still coming down...............Ive waited this long a few more days won't hurt.............

Got a Leer and matches speedway blue
Needs some clean up , but not a big deal
Also got a bedrug AND westin steps included all
for 450.00
I went to a salvage yard and picked up luggage racks from a Kia sadona ,cut off 8 " and mounted them with stainless bolts-no leaks

 

Do you still have that info. I am wanting a ARE CX as well and the price I got was no where near what you got. Please let me know
