I'm thinking about getting projector headlights for my 2012 tacoma. I I notice there are sellers saying 2005 to 2009 or 2005 plus. My first question is will they for my 2012? Also I notice the projectors have a high beam spot too but I thought I only have one bulb for high and low. Is there an addition kit to add separate high beams?

I would into a retrofit from TheRetroFitSource.com. They sell projector kits that you install in your factory headlights. They are much higher quality and have better output than the headlight kits you get on Ebay.
    Check this out:

^That member paid for his retrofit but you could do it yourself for mid $200's in materials and a day of your own labor. The process isn't difficult at all.

I used one of TRS' kits on another car. I was a little scared about baking and taking apart the headlights at first, but honestly it was no big deal, very very easy. Looks like that guy above had the inside of the housing painted as well, looks really good.

When I bought my projector lights off eBay it was listed for 05-08 but really the headlight design did not change for 05-11. So when I installed them they fit just fine, 12+ has a complete different headlight.

With the headlights I have now yes I do have a separate high and low beam. The eBay JDM lights aren't holding up to well since their leaking now. Your best bet is to do a retrofit, those are what my next headlights are going to be.

So prior to 2012 head light won't fit my 2012?

No they won't. Different shaped headlight.

I also agree about doing a retrofit. More expensive but a much better product.

Correct, they changed the headlight assembly in 2012.

You'll notice significantly worse light output from ebay projectors.
