New tires n wheels

    Toytec 3" Ulitmate Lift, Led lights, Tinted Tail Lights, 3rd Brake lights tinted, Clear Corners. Two 8" Kicker Cvt's, Alpine Amp 800 watts, Kenwood Deck, 4 Kicker DS68 door speakers, Flowmaster 40 series American Thunder muffler, AEM Brute Force Air Intake.
    I have fuel octane 18" wheels and 285/65/18 nitto trail grapplers, and I do not like this set up at all. I should have not been a dumbass and got wheels and tires that make me rub on my uca when I turn. I was thinking about getting new wheels and tires. I know I want method race wheels 17" and Im not sure what tires to get. I want to make sure it has enough backspace and offset so make me not rub on my uca's. Im not sure what tire size I want either I know I want a 285 but not sure about the width. Any advise or tire recommendation?

    you can still use that setup, you need to buy a set of wheel spacers to clear the UCA :p

    I had spidertrax spacers and I didn't like em at all for some reason. Id rather just get the offset right and backspace right so I don't have to get them.

    Haha isn't that how tall the tire is? As width I ment as 65/70/75? Or am I completely wrong...

    Does the offset and backspace mean the same thing? The rim I want has a backspace of 4.75 and the offset is 0.

    -12, and that would only be 4.5" bs on a 9" wide wheel
    They are two different ways of describing the same thing. Backspacing is more important than offset for our trucks. Try to get 4.5". 4.75" will be alright but will put the tire closer to the uca
