SOS I can't agree with you more. Depending on where you live, you can pay yourself 2k/hr for driving a bit. Like I live in valley where there are just a couple to a few dealers. One for each type of car and some of course double and triple or more up. They offer little to none on discounts, they figure they got people by the balls... There a re basically 3 kinds of customers that walk into the "local dealers" around here. The rich folks who don't care, can't bebothered just need the car, get $350 off and buy the car and think they got a deal,,,, the total "I have no idea what I'm doing" types who just buy and then the rest of us. About an hour or so away are the competitors... Thats where we shop and save. I'll paid myself $4k to buy an hour away. It was worth it and I got lucky and hit it just right at the end of a Toyotathon at the end of a month and I said give your best price and tell me if i find one cheaper to go away... I didn't find one cheaper anywhere. You have to get over... I want this car today... or you will get screwed. My last yota truck I bought in 95. I went in and out of that dealer 4 times over a month and at the end of the month I got my price 4k off list. The 2012 replaced the 95(pre tacoma). I didn't even test drive the 12. Unless you want a full size, what other truck are you gonna buy? There is nothing comparable to our rigs... It's sad but true.. Would you drive an Equator ...not a chance. Best of luck.... I paid cash...
